Neo QLED 8K combines three premium technologies: Mini-LED backlighting (often 1,000+ individually-controlled dimming zones), quantum-dot colour film (a layer of nanocrystals that shifts blue light to pure red and green), and AI 8K upscaling (a dedicated neural-network chip). When something goes wrong on a flagship set, it's rarely simple.
Why these sets need a specialist
The mini-LED layer is hand-soldered with tens of thousands of micro-bumps. A single failed zone shows up as a faint dark patch on bright scenes that most technicians never even see. The quantum-dot film can degrade unevenly, shifting colour balance over time. And the AI chip needs brand-specific service software to recalibrate — not all repair shops have it.
We have factory diagnostic tools for Samsung Neo QLED, Sony Z-series, TCL X-series, and Hisense ULED 8K. If your set is one of these, we can repair it.
What we don't do
We don't replace Neo QLED panels themselves — they cost more than a new TV. But every other fault — boards, backlight zones, HDMI, firmware, software — is fully repairable.
